A German friend used to say that one can find God more “concentrated” in nature and that is why nature has the ability to soothe the soul, to pacify, to calm, to bring it back to its essence. I’ve always felt she’s right … Forests, meadows, mountains, even parks have that effect on me. When I feel overwhelmed by the speed of the city, my mind immediately travels to nature and finds peace, freedom, softness … and I have mentioned here.
