the art of working ii

Ahhh

life as art, art as life …

I have to accept that taking one’s work as an art (whatever work it is) takes time and maturity (I think), therefore, I might not have been talking about this a few years ago, but let me tell you now that a life without art seems pointless, and no, I’m not talking about painting, sculpture and singing only (people usually confuse this), I’m talking about doing something but doing it in a passionate, loving, artistic way.

Passion for style – Rajasthan, India

What I think differs any human being from an “artist” is an artist who is known for his dedication to his ideals, his muse-whatever it is-and for their perseverance in doing things right (not not perfect, but well done). Make every effort to achieve the desired result. I’m talking about the inclusion of passion in everyday life, living in the moment, be aware of what we are doing so. Having said that, do it right requires a lot of background work and you have to love work.

So, could we say that work itself can be our artwork? And then it would result in our lives being a work of art :) Eh? Artists out there?

Hmmm, I’m going to make myself some coffee, in an artistic way … loving the fact that I do, every little thing I do in a passionate way… and I refuse to settle for less.
